Peter is an accomplished Humanitarian Diplomat and security expert with over 20 years of leadership experience in corporate security and risk mitigation across diverse sectors. Renowned for building high-performing teams and delivering strategic security solutions, he has led numerous initiatives both in Kenya and internationally.

He is the Founder and Board Chairman of Canik Spy Ltd and the visionary behind internationally accredited Close Protection Training Programs in Kenya. Under his strategic leadership, he has played a pivotal role in advancing access to world-class Close Protection training across the continent. His efforts have been instrumental in establishing a comprehensive training pathway, from introductory courses to Level 5 International Close Protection, setting new standards of excellence in the region’s security sector in Kenya.

Peter was officially recognized by the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, for his contributions to the private security sector, reflecting his global impact and influence on 5th December 2024. His core expertise includes Close Protection, Executive & Armed Security, Anti-Terrorism, Risk Management, Information Security, and Strategic Deployment in High-Risk Environments.

He is currently serving as a Director/Board Advisor of the Anti-Terrorism Division of the International Anti-Terrorism Professionals Association (IATPA) and the Anti-Trafficking Bureau (ATB) for the East Africa Region, East Africa Director for the International Diplomatic Alliance. He is the Founder & Chairman of Nyanza Complex Rifle Club. He is a member of the International Police Association (Kenya chapter) and Secretary General of Competitive Marksman Action (CMA).

He is a pioneering entrepreneur who transformed the security industry. Under Peter’s leadership and skills, the Close Protection Industry has been changed and Kenyans can now access international trainings locally with international accreditations. Peter’s entrepreneurial journey is characterized by his relentless focus on customer satisfaction and his willingness to take bold risks to drive innovation and growth. Today, Canik Spy Ltd serves as a practical case study, illustrating real-world applications of Close Protection training principles and providing inspiration for aspiring citizens in the Close Protection Industry.

He is focused exclusively on professional and executive-level corporate security services. In addition to his success in finding and introducing the most significant Close Protection trainings at all international levels and with international accreditations, Peter has worked for more than 15 years to change the traditional expectations of business security functions and how organizational management perceives them. He further believes that by working closely with security professionals and all government security agencies, we can more tightly integrate the future role of Close Protection services.
